Bill O'Leary

Dr. Bill O'Leary is the President of People Talk, Inc. Dr. O'Leary received his Doctorate of Psychology from Southern California University. He is a forensic therapist who works largely with perpetrators and victims of sexual abuse in multiple settings including group homes, facilities, and office locations.  Dr. O'Leary is a specialist in Sexual Abuse and Child Protective Investigations for NY State OCFS, NY City ACS, and NY State Division of Parole. He is the only SIST Provider on Long Island for NY State Office of Mental Health. Dr. O'Leary is an on-site trainer and consultant for numerous organizations and schools. He is frequently in the media (TV and newspaper) as an expert in the field of sexual abuse, sexual offenders, and violence. Dr. O'Leary most recently taught Forensic Psychology at Farmingdale State College.

Mary Denning, LCSW-R

Mary Denning

Mary Denning is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who began her career working with the severely and persistently mentally ill population. She then transitioned into education, where she worked as a Social Worker for an Alternative High School program. Mary served the needs of students unable to maintain their academic status in a typical high school setting. In 2011, Mary took a position working with the homeless male population of Suffolk County. She achieved great success and advanced into a management position. Mary assisted in creating a program that offered case management services and housing assistance to Suffolk County's homeless and forensic population. Through this program, Mary connected with Dr. Bill O'Leary. They worked together to faciliate group and individual treatment for various forensic populations and families.

Melissa Alcaide, LMSW

Melissa Alcaide is a Licensed Social Worker who started her career at Social Services in 2009. Melissa has worked in Medicaid and Housing serving the most vulnerable population in Suffolk County. Melissa began working for Dr. Bill in 2017 when she interned for her Human Services bachelor's degree. She then went on to get her master's in Human Services Leadership at St. Joseph's College and a master's in Social Work at Adelphi University, while operating as the office manager for Dr. Bill.  As a new social worker, Melissa wants to continue to learn through People Talk, Inc.
